Straight blade GFCI receptacles are upgraded
Eaton Wiring Devices upgrade GFCI (earth fault protected) receptacles according to North American standard.
The new range, Slim GFCI, replace the earlier versions which will be discontinued. The major changes are:
- The new receptacles have slimmer depth, resulting in increased wiring space when installed in boxes
- Thermoplastic wall plate will not be included, order suitable wall plate (thermoplastic, stainless steel, NEMA 3R) separately
- The GFCI receptacles are cUL listed and are fully compliant with the latest UL943 and UL498 requirements as Class A GFCI protection.
