Green transition at Öresundslinjen

As part of the green transition at Öresundslinjen, and the pursuit of healthier seas, in 2018 the company switched from diesel to electrified ferry connections, which annually transport more than six million passengers across the strait Helsingborg-Helsingör. Since the transition, the two ferries Tycho Brahe and Aurora have been running on battery power, to reduce the ferries' environmental impact.

The transition also increase the importance of correct and functioning fuses, both common and uncommon, so that the ferries do not reach a standstill, incur unnecessary expences and increase the environmental impact.

As recently as February, we were entrusted with delivering the highly requested, and not too common, ultra-fast aR fuses 3500A. With a light weight of 6.75 kg each!

It is precisely these occasions where our in-depth knowledge comes in handy, and it is also the reason why we are called the "Fuse specialist".

And of course, it is warming to be able to deliver on "home turf" – where we also got the chance to a field trip at our local shipping company. Highly appreciated!
